Doha, 01 April (QNA) - His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the country, today issued Emiri Decision No. (17) of 2026 reconstituting the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority. The decision stipulates that the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority shall be reconstituted under the chairmanship of His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani as Vice Chairman, and membership of: His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal, Mr. Hamad Ali Al Khater, Sheikh Ali bin Al Waleed Al Thani, Mr. Saleh Majed Al Khulaifi, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Al Amoudi, and Mr. Abdullah Ali Al Kuwari. The decision also stipulates that the Prime Minister may add other experienced and competent members to the Board membership. The decision stipulates that the board membership term shall be four years, renewable for one or more similar terms. The decision stipulates its implementation, enforcement from the date of issuance, and publication in the official gazette.
