The General Directorate of Passports has provided the service of issuing passports for family members under the age of 21 electronically via the Absher platform, allowing citizens to complete the service without the need to visit passport offices.

The directorate explained, through its official account on the X platform, that the passport issuance is done by logging into the Absher platform, then selecting family members services, followed by Saudi passport services for individuals and family.

It added that the beneficiary then goes to the 'New Request' option, then selects the beneficiary from family members, before completing the passport issuance procedures electronically.
