The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the unified national platform for recruitment 'Musaned', has started issuing and renewing residency permits for domestic workers and similar categories with durations starting from (3) months, allowing employers to pay residency fees for each issuance or renewal period on a quarterly basis. The decision grants employers the possibility to split the fees for the selected duration only when issuing or renewing residency for a period of (3) months or its multiples, providing greater flexibility in managing their obligations and meeting the needs of various beneficiary segments. This approach reflects the ongoing development of residency-related services to enhance procedural efficiency, improve the quality of services provided, and offer more flexible solutions that suit the needs of employers and domestic workers, as part of the digital transformation journey and improving the user experience.
