King Faisal University Launches AI Camp

Scientific lectures and practical workshops

On Monday, 6 Safar 1448 AH, King Faisal University, in partnership with the Abdulmoneim Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation, launched the Artificial Intelligence Camp, aiming to develop national skills in the fields of artificial intelligence and future technologies, and enable participants to gain knowledge and practical experience in the latest AI technologies.

Supervisor of Research Centers Management Dr. Adel Al-Shehai said that the camp comes as part of the university's efforts to enhance the research and innovation system, and build national capabilities in advanced technologies, through specialized training programs that combine scientific and practical application.

He added that the program focuses on AI applications, data analysis, machine learning, prompt engineering, and language models, contributing to preparing national cadres capable of employing these technologies in scientific research, innovation, and supporting development.

The camp includes a training program consisting of scientific lectures, practical workshops, and interactive sessions delivered by a group of experts and specialists, aiming to develop participants' skills in using AI tools, enhance innovative thinking, and enable them to innovate technical solutions that help face development challenges.

The organization of the camp is an extension of the partnership between King Faisal University and the Abdulmoneim Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation in supporting qualitative initiatives aimed at developing human capital, promoting a culture of innovation, and preparing qualified national competencies to keep pace with digital transformation and future technologies.
