Gaza — Voluntary Medical Projects

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid is implementing several voluntary medical projects in the Gaza Strip, covering general surgery, orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, neurosurgery, and urology, during the period from July 2 to August 2, 2026.

Since the launch of the campaign, the center's voluntary medical team has performed 17 general surgeries, 22 orthopedic and joint replacement surgeries, 8 neurosurgery procedures, and 12 urology surgeries, in addition to examining 260 individuals. All operations were successful.

Gaza — Distribution of Food Meals

The center's central kitchen distributed 25,000 hot meals to the most needy groups in central and southern Gaza, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the Palestinian people.

Afghanistan — Food Baskets in Balkh

The center distributed 789 food baskets to returnees from neighboring countries, displaced persons, needy individuals, and orphans in Dawlat Abad district, Balkh province, Afghanistan, benefiting 5,532 individuals from 789 families, under the Food Security and Emergency Project in Afghanistan for 2026.

Syria — Date Cartons in Hasakah

The center distributed 3,500 cartons of dates to those affected in Hasakah Governorate, Syria, benefiting 3,500 families, as part of the Saudi aid project for the Syrian people.

Chad — Food Baskets in Am Hajar

The center distributed 500 food baskets to the most needy groups in Am Hajar town, Al Batha state, Republic of Chad, benefiting 3,000 individuals, under the In-Kind Aid Distribution Project in Chad for 2026.

Yemen — Health Services in Hajjah

The Emergency Center for Epidemic Disease Control in Hayran district, Hajjah governorate, supported by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, provided treatment services to 5,774 beneficiaries during June 2026. These included the pediatric clinic, which received 1,854 children; the internal medicine clinic, 963 beneficiaries; and the epidemic disease control clinic, 2,957 patients.

In support services, the laboratory section examined 1,441 patients, the pharmacy dispensed medication to 5,509 beneficiaries, 1,641 patients were admitted for observation, and 17 rounds of medical waste disposal were conducted.
