The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center delivered a number of agricultural facilities and equipment under the project to support the wheat production chain in eastern rural Aleppo, Syrian Arab Republic, with the aim of enhancing food security and improving living conditions for farmers.

The interventions included the delivery of a mobile seed screening station with an operational capacity of 5 tons per hour, in addition to completing the rehabilitation of a seed multiplication warehouse in the Al-Layramoun area of Aleppo Governorate, on an area of approximately 4,000 square meters, with a storage capacity of up to 8,000 tons of improved seeds, contributing to increased production of certified seeds, improved quality, and reduced storage losses.

The project also included the rehabilitation of three agricultural extension centers in the towns of Tal Alam, Al-Safira, and Tal Arn, to provide technical and extension services to farmers, in addition to delivering three agricultural tractors with accessories to these centers, aiming to provide agricultural mechanization services and improve land readiness for agricultural seasons.

The project also included the rehabilitation and operation of agricultural water pumping stations in the towns of Tal Alam, Tal Hasel, and Umm Amad, and the installation of solar energy systems in them, contributing to the reactivation of irrigation networks, improving water access to targeted agricultural lands, and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural production in eastern rural Aleppo.

On another front, the center distributed 154 food baskets to returnees from neighboring countries, displaced persons, needy individuals, and orphans in Mazar-i-Sharif city, Balkh Province, Afghanistan, benefiting 1,078 individuals representing 154 families, under the Food Security and Emergency Project in Afghanistan for the year 2026.

The center is also implementing the voluntary project "Sama' Saudi" for cochlear implantation and auditory rehabilitation in Hatay Province, Republic of Turkey, from July 8 to 11, 2026, where the volunteer medical team provided audiometry services, ear mold measurement, hearing aid programming and distribution to 370 beneficiaries.

In Sudan, the center distributed 1,551 food baskets to displaced and returning families in Rabak locality, White Nile State, benefiting 8,637 individuals, under the "Madad" project for the year 2026.

These efforts are an extension of the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support food security and empower affected communities around the world.
