The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched the multiple-entry Umrah visa, which allows the guests of Rahman to enter the Kingdom multiple times during its validity period of 365 days from the date of issuance, with a total stay of up to 90 days during the visa's validity period, aiming to facilitate the pilgrim's journey and provide flexible options for planning the visit and performing Umrah.

The available stay period is calculated cumulatively from a total of 90 days.

The ministry affirmed that this step is an extension of the continuous support for the system of serving the guests of Rahman from the wise leadership, within the context of developing services provided to them, and achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Guests of Rahman Service Program, aiming to facilitate arrival, enrich the experience, and improve service efficiency.

It explained that the available stay period is calculated cumulatively from a total of 90 days, according to the number of days the guest of Rahman stays in the Kingdom during each visit, allowing them to benefit from the visa in multiple visits throughout its validity, according to the approved regulatory controls.

Requirements for benefiting from the visa

The ministry clarified that benefiting from the visa requires purchasing a service package from one of the approved service providers in the 'Nusuk' system for each visit, taking into account that the package duration does not exceed the remaining available days in the visa, and adhering to the regulations governing the durations of programs and services provided to the guests of Rahman.

Entering the Kingdom under the visa is linked to issuing an Umrah permit via the 'Nusuk' application before arrival, and aligning the permit date with the approved package dates, in addition to meeting the requirements for travel and entry eligibility.

First visit procedure

It indicated that the first visit procedure begins with purchasing a services package through one of the package providers available in the 'Nusuk' system, then submitting a visa issuance request and completing its processing with the relevant authorities.

This includes verifying travel eligibility before the guest of Rahman boards the plane, up to recording entry data upon arrival and updating it upon departure, which includes calculating the remaining stay period.

Subsequent visits

In subsequent visits, the visa holder purchases a new package from one of the approved service providers, and issues an Umrah permit via the 'Nusuk' application, to complete the procedures for verifying fulfillment of entry requirements and travel eligibility.

This is followed by recording entry and exit data, and updating the remaining balance of the stay period allocated to the visa holder, to ensure compliance with regulatory controls.

Suspension of visa activation during Hajj

The ministry pointed out that the visa status activation is suspended after each departure from the Kingdom, and reactivated for the next visit after fulfilling the necessary regulatory requirements.

It affirmed that the visa is not activated for entry during the Hajj season, from the 1st of Dhul Qa'dah to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah each year.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah affirmed that the multiple-entry Umrah visa enhances planning flexibility for the visit and supports the integration of digital and operational services related to the journey of the guests of Rahman.

This comes within the ministry's ongoing efforts to provide a more convenient and high-quality experience for the guests of Rahman, from planning the arrival to leaving the Kingdom, achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
