Madinah Governor Receives Mauritanian Ambassador, Discusses Development of Water Sector

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region, received at his office in the Emirate the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom, Mokhtar Ould Dah.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial conversations and discussed topics of common interest.

His Highness, the Governor of the Madinah Region, also received at his office in the Emirate the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and Local Content at the Saudi Water Authority, Engineer Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh.

During the meeting, His Highness listened to an explanation about the efforts of the Saudi Water Authority in regulating the water sector, enabling its system, overseeing the implementation of its targets, as well as the most prominent ongoing strategic initiatives and projects, which enhance water security, raise the efficiency of the water system, and improve the reliability of services provided to beneficiaries.

Engineer Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Governor of the Madinah Region, for his attention and support for water sector projects in the region, stressing that this support contributes to enhancing integration among relevant bodies, achieving the sector's targets, and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
