Madinah Welcomes First Batch of Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has completed all its preparations to receive the first batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Umrah and Visit Program for the year 1448 AH, scheduled to arrive in Madinah on the coming Wednesday, before moving to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals, following the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - to host (1,000) male and female pilgrims at his own expense, who will be hosted in four groups throughout the year.

The first batch of the program, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, includes (250) male and female pilgrims representing (16) Asian countries: Indonesia, East Timor, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia.

The ministry has prepared a varied program for the guests during their stay in Madinah, including visits to a number of places, sites, and museums related to the Prophet's biography and Islamic civilization, before moving to Makkah to perform Umrah.
