Minister of Defense Meets Canadian Minister of National Defense, Discusses Bilateral Cooperation in Military and Defense Fields

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, met today in Jeddah with the Honorable David McGuinty, Minister of National Defense of Canada.

During the meeting, they reviewed Saudi-Canadian relations and discussed bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the military and defense fields, as well as regional developments and efforts being made to achieve security and stability in the region and the world.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Deputy Minister of Defense; His Excellency Chief of General Staff General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili; His Excellency Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari; and His Excellency Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs Mr. Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.

From the Canadian side, the meeting was attended by Her Excellency Deputy Minister of Defense Christiane Fox and a number of officials.
