His Excellency Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif, today visited a number of military factories in Al-Kharj Governorate, including the SAMI Industrial Complex for Land Systems, which belongs to SAMI for Land Systems (SAMI LAND), a subsidiary of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund.

During his tour of the SAMI Industrial Complex for Land Systems, Minister Al-Khuraif inspected its industrial facilities and production lines, and familiarized himself with the latest military manufacturing technologies. SAMI represents the main arm for localizing defense industries in the Kingdom, operating through several companies including land systems, air systems, advanced electronics, unmanned systems, and munitions.

He also visited a group of factories of NCMS Company, and reviewed the operational processes and key products. NCMS is one of the leading Saudi companies in local defense manufacturing, active in the production of mechanical, electromechanical, optical systems, and firing systems.

The visit comes as part of the ministry's commitment to developing national military manufacturing capabilities and building an integrated national defense industrial base, supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals of localizing 50% of military spending, and enhancing the Kingdom's national security.
