In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, denounced these falsehoods put forward by the so-called military spokesman of this terrorist militia, which has brought nothing but death and destruction to Yemen. The Yemeni people—with their resources, stability, and livelihood—have been the primary victims of its crimes, violations, intransigence, and barbaric interventions in regional conflicts, serving its sectarian agendas and narrow political goals. This includes its attacks against the Yemeni people, targeting infrastructure in Yemen that has not spared even civilian airports, oil export terminals, government facilities, and commercial ships in the Red Sea.

His Eminence affirmed that the Yemeni people, encompassing the Islamic world and the international community, realize that these falsehoods are nothing but a desperate attempt by this terrorist group to divert attention from its crimes, cover up its crises, and evade responsibility for the catastrophic situation to which it has brought the Yemeni people, especially in areas under its control, as a result of its crimes, violations, mismanagement, and tyranny over the will and resources of the Yemeni people.

His Eminence stressed that these false allegations are belied by reality and refuted by established facts, some of which were highlighted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its condemnation of the statements made by the so-called military spokesman of the terrorist Houthi militia. The Ministry affirmed that over the past years, the Kingdom has worked, in cooperation with the legitimate Yemeni government, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people by continuing development projects, supporting the Yemeni government's budget, providing necessary petroleum derivatives to operate power plants, in addition to its continuous support for all UN efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen. This is the sincere and consistent approach that the Kingdom has upheld in standing by the Yemeni people, as witnessed by Islamic countries, UN organizations, and the entire international community.
