Najran Governor Honors Citizen with King Abdulaziz Medal for Donating Part of His Liver

The Governor of Najran Region, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaad, awarded in his office today (Thursday) citizen Hamad bin Ibrahim Al-Harbi the King Abdulaziz Medal of the Third Class, in appreciation of his donation of 65% of his liver to his maternal grandfather, in the presence of his father.
His Highness the Governor of Najran praised this humanitarian initiative, emphasizing that it embodies the highest meanings of piety and benevolence, and reflects the noble values called for by the Islamic religion, through altruism and contributing to saving the lives of others.
His Highness also noted the support and attention that humanitarian initiatives receive from the wise leadership - may God support it - pointing to its keenness to establish a culture of organ donation and encourage humanitarian work that contributes to saving lives and enhancing social solidarity.
For his part, citizen Hamad Al-Harbi and his father expressed their thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership - may God preserve it - for this honor, affirming that receiving the King Abdulaziz Medal of the Third Class is a source of pride and honor, and serves as an incentive to continue humanitarian work and community service.
