With the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, the third high-level forum on regional security and cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the European Union kicked off today in Brussels, on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

This forum comes as part of enhancing strategic dialogue between the two regional blocs to address common challenges.

Participants in the forum discussed ways to strengthen the security and strategic partnership between the two sides, along with efforts aimed at supporting international stability and security.

The forum was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan.

The convening of the forum reflects the shared commitment to developing cooperation in the fields of security and counter-terrorism. These meetings are expected to yield practical initiatives that enhance coordination between the Gulf and the European Union on regional and international issues.
