The General Directorate of Passports said that the 'Absher Travel' service allows travelers to pass through the automatic gates of the King Fahd Causeway port without the need to stop at an employee.

The Passports authority explained, via platform X, that this feature is available when paying the causeway fees through the 'Absher Travel' service, which contributes to speeding up crossing procedures and facilitating the movement of travelers.

The Absher Travel service is an electronic service that enables travelers (citizens and residents) to create a travel request via the King Fahd Causeway port and complete their travel procedures electronically, pay the causeway fees and vehicle insurance, and verify its legality, in order to facilitate and expedite procedures for travelers.
