Political / Shura Council Holds Its 45th Ordinary Session of the Second Year of the Ninth Term

Riyadh, Safar 8, 1448 AH corresponding to July 22, 2026 AD -- SPA. The Shura Council held today its 45th ordinary session of the second year of the ninth term (via video conference), chaired by Deputy Speaker Dr. Mishal bin Fahm Al-Sulami. At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the agenda of its 45th ordinary session and the items it contained, taking the necessary decisions regarding them. The Council voted to approve a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of mineral resources. It also approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Research, Development and Innovation Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Scientific Research, Innovation and Technology Council of the Republic of Turkey in the field of research, development and innovation. Among the topics on the agenda of this session, the Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League for cooperation in serving the Arabic language. The Council also approved a draft headquarters agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Institute of Internal Auditors. // End // 14:05 T M 0094
