Political writer Dr. Muhammad Al-Harbi said that the Kingdom has presented many initiatives to preserve the unity and cohesion of the Yemeni people, but the Houthis reject that.

Al-Harbi added, in an interview with Al-Akhbariya channel, that the Kingdom's initiatives have been numerous, but the Houthi militias practice opportunism resulting from their connection to Iran and the financial support they receive from it.

He added that Iran is now under severe pressure from the war against it to the signing of the agreement with the United States, in addition to the fragmentation of internal decision-making due to the dispute between politicians and military officials; therefore, Tehran cannot support its proxies.
