President of University of the Kingdom Dr. Saud Al-Shanifi said that grants for 'Mawhiba' students are subject to standards of excellence, merit and fair competition according to the admission and eligibility controls set by the universities.

He added during an interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel that these grants are not offered by direct selection, noting that students from Mawhiba are nominated according to admission criteria, then procedures include document verification, then sorting according to the level of applicants and the availability of seats in each program.

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity 'Mawhiba' and the University of the Kingdom had signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at supporting gifted students and enabling them to continue their academic journey through a merit-based scholarship program, contributing to attracting national talents and preparing a generation of leaders and innovators capable of contributing to the future of the Kingdom.
