Prince Faisal bin Farhan Receives Phone Call from Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed regional developments, condemned Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and stressed coordination to de-escalate tensions.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
During the call, they discussed developments in the region, with both sides expressing their condemnation and denunciation of the heinous Iranian attacks that targeted the brothers in the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the ongoing threats to maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The two sides also discussed efforts to restore security and stability, stressing the importance of continued coordination and joint work to de-escalate and reduce the negative repercussions of the crisis at both the regional and international levels.
