Riyadh Education Department Honors 96 Students Who Won National 'Munafis' Award
The General Administration of Education in the Riyadh region honored 96 male and female students who won the National 'Munafis' Award in its second cycle for 2024, and who received awards in various tracks.
The Director General of Education in the Riyadh region, Dr. Naif bin Abed Al-Zarae, congratulated the winning students, their parents, and the educational community in general on this honor.
In a speech he delivered on this occasion, he said that the award aims to stimulate excellence and creativity among students, enhance leadership and entrepreneurial skills, support innovation and scientific talents, instill values of belonging and active citizenship, and prepare a generation capable of competing globally.
On the other hand, Abdul Salam Al-Thumairi, the official spokesperson of the General Administration of Education in the region, explained that the National 'Munafis' Award is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Education, and was launched within the Human Capability Development Program, and aims to discover and nurture distinguished students in various fields, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Thumairi pointed out that the award has five tracks: cognitive achievement, international tests, volunteer work, innovation and scientific talent, future skills, and entrepreneurship.
