Riyadh Municipality Announces Its District Events Celebrating 'Founding Day'

The Riyadh Region Municipality continues its efforts to enhance national identity and entrench historical values by reviving the memory of Founding Day 2025, organizing forty-seven diverse events in cooperation with forty-seven municipalities within its supervisory scope, distributed across various locations in the capital and its governorates.

The events include cultural, heritage, and artistic activities reflecting the history of the first Saudi state. The Dhurma Municipality celebrates with a 'Founding Day' event in the old town, while the Tamir Municipality presents the 'Saudi Ardha' at the Spring Flowers Guesthouse.

The Zulfi Municipality hosts various activities in Al-Zaytoun Park and Al-Alqa Heritage Village, while events of the Wadi Al-Dawasir Municipality take place in King Fahd Park, commercial complexes, and the governorate roundabout.

In Shaqra Municipality, interactive events are held in the heritage town, while the Majmaah Municipality organizes its events in the celebration square and King Salman Park. The Hotat Bani Tamim Municipality hosts a range of cultural activities in the municipality square.

The Al-Dalam Municipality presents heritage shows in the central celebration square, while the Al-Aflaj Municipality participates with events in the Thursday Heritage Market and King Abdulaziz Park.

The events also include municipalities: Nafi, Al-Jalla and Tabrak, Halban, Al-Haddar, Bada' Al-Adyan, Al-Bijadiyah, Al-Quway'iyah, Urwa, Jalajil, Afif, Hotat Sudair, Al-Hayathim, Al-Sirr, Al-Badi', Al-Qasab, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Artawiyah, Al-Rayn, Al-Hasa, Al-Jamsh, Thadiq, Al-Ghat, Rumah, Al-Sulayyil, Rawdat Sudair, Al-Ahmar, Al-Ruwaydah, Al-Hilwah, Huraymila, Marat, Ashayqir, Al-Muzahimiyah, Al-Uyaynah and Al-Jubaylah, Al-Diriyah, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Al-Hayaniyah and Al-Birk, and Sajir, where the events vary between heritage shows, interactive workshops, artistic evenings, and experiences simulating life in the first Saudi state, with exhibitions highlighting the historical and cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
