RIYADH — The sixth Saudi Media Forum is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from Feb. 1 to 3, 2027, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, drawing media leaders, policymakers, experts, and global technology companies.

The forum is part of Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to modernize its media landscape and attract international investment in line with Vision 2030.

Salman Al-Dosari, the Minister of Media, thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their patronage, noting that it demonstrates the leadership's dedication to advancing the media sector and enhancing Saudi Arabia's international standing.

Al-Dosari noted that the forum has become one of the region's foremost media platforms and a global hub for discussions on the industry's future, launching new initiatives, and fostering international partnerships.

He added that the event supports innovation, keeps pace with rapid developments in media and emerging technologies, empowers national talent and reinforces Saudi Arabia's position as a global hub for the media industry.

The Saudi Media Forum has grown into a key annual event for the regional industry. Its sixth edition continues the kingdom's push to diversify its economy beyond oil, with media and technology as priority sectors. The royal patronage signals high-level backing for initiatives that aim to position Saudi Arabia as a global media destination. As the forum approaches, it is expected to attract significant international participation and announce new partnerships and projects.
