During a journey that has lasted ten years so far, the Kingdom's Vision 2030 has succeeded in bringing about fundamental transformations that have changed the face of the Kingdom, and placed it among the list of promising countries of the world, which tread the path of development with steadfastness and confidence, to turn within a short time into an international icon and a model to be emulated in sustainable growth and continuous prosperity.

The comprehensiveness of the vision's transformations is embodied in many radical changes that affected all aspects of the state. In addition to the economic and foreign policy tracks, the social landscape had its ample share of the vision's programs, which sought to build a model society whose members enjoy happiness, safety, and stability. This scene was manifested in the Kingdom achieving first place among G20 countries in the Safety Index for 2025, according to country data in the UN database of Sustainable Development Goal indicators.

The Safety Index is closely linked to the quality of life path, which Vision 2030 included among its general objectives, out of the Kingdom's belief that there is no social stability without security and safety felt by citizens and residents in all places they frequent. When the results show that the proportion of the total population who feel safe walking alone at night in their residential areas in the Kingdom reached 97.7%, this confirms the wise leadership's interest in enhancing the security track, and making it a prominent feature that distinguishes living on the Kingdom's soil.

It is wrong to believe that the safety enjoyed by the Kingdom's residents is a product of Vision 2030; rather, it is as old as the Kingdom itself. Throughout the ages, the rulers have been keen to maintain security and safety in all parts of the country, having made the citizen the first security man, participating with security agencies in their role of defending the homeland and preserving its gains. When the vision came, it sought to enhance the aspects of safety by involving relevant state sectors in this mission, in line with official efforts to provide security, safety, and a decent life in many different areas, including economic, food, environmental, health, social, political, intellectual, technical, and cyber security, among others, as well as improving services provided, to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The new aspect brought by Vision 2030 is its keenness to invest in modern technologies to enhance the security and safety track, by utilizing the database, launching the 911 initiative, the initiative of leading police stations, updating security facilities, establishing mobile police stations, and launching an advanced security platform using artificial intelligence tools that successfully analyze crime-related information, in a general scene that confirms that security and safety have always been the hallmark of this nation since its inception until today.
