Tourism specialist Khaled Al-Ruqi confirmed that the increase in the number of hospitality facilities in the Kingdom to 6,000 facilities, an increase exceeding 23% compared to the same period last year, reflects the accelerated tourism movement that Saudi Arabia is witnessing, amid the continuous expansion of the sector.

Al-Ruqi explained, during an intervention with Al-Akhbaria channel, that the tourist now has wide options in the fields of hospitality and hotels, in conjunction with the diversity of events and tourist activities held throughout the year, which contributes to enhancing the visitor experience and increasing the attractiveness of tourist destinations within the Kingdom.

He added that the Kingdom has become an attractive tourism environment due to the diversity of activities and events, along with the growing investment opportunities in the sector, pointing out that tourism has begun to attract the attention of investors from inside and outside Saudi Arabia, in light of the continuous development witnessed in this field.
