Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Shakra Governorate is making final preparations for the sixth Shakra Pepper Festival, which will start on July 23, 2026 and continue for 10 days at the Governorate’s Exhibitions and Conferences Hall.

Governor of Shakra Adel bin Abdullah Al-Buwardi is directly following up the work of the organizing committees and checking the readiness of the sites and services provided, to ensure the festival is held in a manner befitting the patronage of the Emir of the region and to provide an exceptional experience for visitors and participants.

The festival comes as an extension of the successes achieved by its previous editions, as one of the most prominent agricultural festivals in the region, and a platform that brings together farmers, producers, productive families, government agencies, and the private sector, contributing to supporting the local product, enhancing agricultural development, and opening wider marketing horizons.

This edition is expected to see broad participation from pepper farmers and producers, along with exhibitions of agricultural products, corners for productive families, cultural and entertainment events, and awareness programs targeting various segments of society, which will enhance the quality of the local product and solidify the position of Shakra pepper among the most prominent agricultural products in the Kingdom.

The organizing committees, under the supervision of the Governor of Shakra, continue to complete all organizational, technical, and service aspects, in preparation for an edition expected to be the largest and most distinguished since the festival started, thus enhancing Shakra’s presence on the map of agricultural festivals in the Kingdom.
