University of Ha'il implements 100 community initiatives benefiting more than 80,000 people
جامعة حائل توثق تأثيرها المجتمعي بـ 100 مبادرة خلال العام الجامعي 2025-2026، استفاد منها 80,544 شخصًا، وحصدت جوائز عن مبادرات مبتكرة لنزلاء السجون. كما عقدت 9 اتفاقيات شراكة.
The University of Ha'il implemented 100 community initiatives and events during the academic year 2025-2026, with the participation of its various colleges and departments, benefiting 80,544 people. It also concluded 9 partnerships and agreements with government and private entities, covering areas of community development, training, health, volunteering, and inmate rehabilitation.
The initiatives and events varied across health and preventive, educational and training, community and humanitarian, legal and rights, technical and innovative, and cultural and environmental fields.
The university revealed through its account on the X platform that the average number of beneficiaries per event was 805 people. The 'Rally Tent 2026' initiative recorded the highest participation rate with 30,000 beneficiaries, followed by the 'Develop Your Skills in Summer' initiative with 20,000 beneficiaries.
The university won the award of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Ha'il Region, in its eighth edition, for the Diploma of Media and Digital Marketing for Prison Inmates initiative, in addition to the award for the Best Qualitative Initiative Supporting Educational, Training, and Digital Infrastructure in Prisons, as part of the Ministry of Education's celebration of the Saudi Day for Social Responsibility.
The university, under the direct guidance of its president Dr. Badr Al-Harbi, affirms its commitment to enhancing its community role, activating partnerships with various sectors, and presenting initiatives with sustainable impact that contribute to human and societal development, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
