Dr. Fayez Maajini, Vice Dean of Admissions and Registration at University of Jeddah, affirmed that the 'Qubool' platform relies on instantaneous comparison as a key stage in university admission procedures, explaining that this process began after the announcement of high school results on July 2, and updating the data of aptitude and achievement tests for applicants.

Maajini explained, in a phone-in on Al-Akhbariya, that the platform gives students immediate indicators of admission chances through the green and red colors and the trophy icon, based on their entered data and the weighted percentage for each student. The system allows students to rearrange their preferences until July 18, helping them increase their chances in suitable specializations.

He pointed out that green indicates a high admission chance, while red indicates a low chance. As for the trophy icon, it reflects a high admission chance but does not mean final acceptance until the results are announced.
