The phone call received by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz from US President Donald Trump (the night before last) confirmed the importance that the United States attaches to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the framework of their long-standing partnership, and the role played by Prince Mohammed bin Salman in efforts to establish stability in the region and ease escalating tensions across the world and the region.

Saudi diplomacy has consistently respected the sovereignty of other states, been sincere in cooperation with them, and worked with countries in their regional blocs to advance relations, strengthen economic cooperation, and exchange investments, so that the world becomes a safe and prosperous village, especially since modern geopolitics no longer means hegemony or occupation as in the old world, but rather digital, logistical, and commercial connectivity, with secure waterways and networks of railways and roads providing rapid delivery of goods and indispensable oil and electricity supplies for the life of states and their populations.
