The Civil Affairs Agency of the Ministry of Interior has outlined the procedure for electronically issuing a replacement national ID card for lost ones via the Absher application, as part of its efforts to advance digital services and streamline procedures for beneficiaries without the need to visit civil affairs offices.

The agency explained that the service allows citizens to report the loss of their national ID and request the issuance of a replacement card electronically, with the possibility of having the new document delivered to the beneficiary's registered national address.

It added that issuing a replacement national ID for lost ones is done by logging into the Absher application, then selecting National ID services, followed by the Reissue National ID service, and then choosing the 'ID is lost' option, to complete the request electronically according to the approved procedures.
