The United Nations Human Rights Office warned of escalating attacks on the Gaza Strip, noting that 57 Palestinians were killed between July 13 and 20, including six children and eight women.

It affirmed that targeting civilians constitutes a war crime, calling for respect of the ceasefire and ensuring accountability.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced the provision of urgent aid to families displaced from the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City near what is known as the Yellow Line. In the West Bank, the UN office warned of an escalation of Israeli settler attacks at a rate of six incidents per day, confirming documentation of more than 1,260 incidents since the beginning of the year, resulting in the killing of Palestinians, damage to property, arson of homes and agricultural land, and displacement of families and population.
