The Arab Parliament condemned and denounced the statements issued by the military spokesperson of the terrorist Houthi militia, which accused the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of besieging the Yemeni people and imposing a ban on maritime navigation.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, stated in an official announcement the Parliament's complete rejection of these provocative and irresponsible statements, pointing out their clear contradiction with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts and continuous support for the Yemeni people.

Al-Yamahi stressed the Arab Parliament's absolute rejection of any offensive statements or threats targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or affecting its sovereignty and national security, affirming that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Arab national security.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to implement relevant UN Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution No. 2722, in a manner that ensures the protection of freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and deters any actions that threaten regional and international peace and security.

The Arab Parliament renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures it takes to protect its security, territorial integrity, and national interests.
