The Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar announced that a child was injured by shrapnel resulting from interception operations, following the Iranian attack that targeted the state this morning.

The ministry clarified in a statement carried by the Qatar News Agency that security authorities and civil defense teams began their procedures, according to approved response plans, immediately after the incident.

The ministry noted that the injured child is receiving the necessary medical care, confirming that the injury occurred based on the reports received and field results.

For its part, the Qatari Interior Ministry stressed the importance of obtaining information only from official sources, and called for refraining from spreading rumors or publishing unverified information, images, or videos.
