The Special Forces for Environmental Security indicated that the penalty for cutting, uprooting, transporting, bulldozing, or trading trees from vegetation cover lands without a permit is a fine of up to 20,000 riyals per tree.

In the same context, the forces urged reporting any cases of assault on the environment or wildlife via 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom.
