Nine Palestinians were killed on Saturday in Israeli aerial and artillery strikes that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people, a residential apartment, and a gathering of citizens in Gaza City.

This was according to medical sources, civil defense, and eyewitnesses, as reported by Anadolu.

In the latest attacks, a Palestinian woman was killed in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, raising the Saturday death toll to 9.

Earlier, five Palestinians, including a girl, were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential apartment in the al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.

Also, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a civilian gathering in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood.

According to the latest data from the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement has risen to 1,144 killed and 3,703 wounded.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide war on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, Israel has killed 73,269 Palestinians and wounded 173,811 others.

The war has also left widespread destruction, affecting about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure in the Strip.
