The Kuwaiti army announced on Wednesday that it intercepted four Iranian missiles and 21 drones.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Othman, said the armed forces spotted today four cruise missiles and 21 hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace, and they were intercepted and dealt with.

Al-Othman explained that the sinful Iranian aggression on Kuwait resulted in targeting a number of vital installations in the country, causing material damage without any human casualties, affirming that the armed forces continue to perform their tasks and duties efficiently, within the framework of constant readiness and permanent preparedness, enhancing national security and preserving the safety of citizens and residents.

The Kuwaiti army statement confirmed that the number of drones destroyed rose to 970 drones, 387 ballistic missiles, and 25 cruise missiles.

Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan had earlier announced that their air defenses confronted several Iranian attacks earlier today.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force called for caution, warning against approaching any strange or suspicious objects resulting from debris of the 'brutal Iranian assault' and to report them immediately.

It stressed that deliberately using missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

For its part, the Jordanian army announced the interception and downing of three ballistic missiles that entered Jordanian airspace from Iranian territory early Wednesday, according to the Jordan News Agency 'Petra' citing a military source. The interception and downing were carried out as part of operational and defensive procedures to protect the homeland's borders, airspace, and the security of its citizens.

It indicated that the operation did not result in any human casualties or material damage, noting that Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the shrapnel that fell in several sites according to the approved technical and security procedures, and the sites were secured and necessary measures were taken.
