Israeli army announces arrest of Hezbollah member
The Israeli army announced Wednesday that its soldiers arrested a Hezbollah member during clashes in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, before transferring him to Israel for questioning, according to AFP.
The man was arrested in the Bint Jbeil area, where Israeli forces clashed with Hezbollah fighters.
A statement from the Israeli army said: 'The saboteur belongs to the Radwan Force unit of Hezbollah, which has been responsible for fighting against army forces and citizens of the State of Israel throughout the war.'
Israel continues to carry out intermittent strikes in southern Lebanon despite a truce declared two weeks ago, often saying it is targeting Hezbollah positions and members.
Both sides accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.

Lebanon entered the war on March 2, after Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel, saying it was responding to the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the first US and Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28.
Israel responded with a wide campaign of airstrikes and a ground invasion, issuing repeated evacuation warnings over more than three months of fighting, resulting in about 4,300 deaths and the displacement of over a million people, particularly from southern Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs, according to authorities.
On the Israeli side, 38 soldiers and a civilian contractor were killed.
A memorandum of understanding signed on June 17 between Tehran and Washington enabled a fragile ceasefire in Lebanon starting June 21.
On June 26, a framework agreement was reached between Lebanon and Israel in the United States, stipulating that the Lebanese army would reassert its authority in the south of the country, on condition of Hezbollah's disarmament, starting with 'pilot zones' from which the Israeli army would withdraw.
