Bahrain Condemns Repeated Iranian Aggressions on Its Territory, Kuwait and Jordan
Bahrain condemns repeated Iranian attacks using missiles and drones on its territory, Kuwait, and Jordan, calling them a dangerous escalation and urging the international community to take firm action.
The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the repeated Iranian attacks on its territory, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, using missiles and drones.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement published by the Bahrain News Agency that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability, a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states, and a gross breach of the rules of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, Security Council Resolution 2817, and the principles of good neighborliness, undermining efforts to de-escalate and threatening regional peace and security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's call for the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its legal responsibilities and take a firm and deterrent stance against the systematic Iranian attacks, and to establish an effective mechanism for monitoring implementation, accountability, compensation, and obligating Iran to fully comply with its international obligations by respecting the sovereignty of states, immediately and permanently ceasing its hostile and terrorist operations, and ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the safety of vital waterways, thereby contributing to the consolidation of security and stability and the achievement of development and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the world.
