Bahrain Confronts Iranian Aerial Aggressions and Calls on Citizens to Be Cautious
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial aggressions that targeted the kingdom this morning, affirming the continued readiness of its forces to deal with any threat to the country's security.
The General Command, in a statement published on its account on the “X” platform, said that Iran continues what it described as a “systematic hostile approach” through aggressions targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that the air defense forces repelled the attacks with high efficiency.
It affirmed that all weapons and military units are at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the kingdom and maintain its security and stability.
The General Command called on citizens and residents to exercise caution, and not to approach any strange or suspicious objects that may be remnants of the attacks, and to report them immediately to the relevant authorities.
It pointed out that the men of the Royal Field Engineering Unit are on standby for the safe technical handling of these objects, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force stressed that deliberately targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
