The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced on Saturday, July 18, 2026, that it had repelled, intercepted, and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial attacks, in a step it described as part of full defensive readiness to protect the kingdom.

In an official statement, the General Command affirmed that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through repeated attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Command stressed that all its weapons and military units remain at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to safeguard the kingdom's security and the safety of its citizens.

The General Command called on citizens and residents to be vigilant and cautious, and not to approach any strange or suspicious objects that may result from the aftermath of the attack, and to immediately report them to the relevant authorities.
