The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks today (Sunday), accusing Iran of continuing its hostile approach through its sinful attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom.

The General Command stressed that all its weapons and units are at the highest level of readiness and on standby for defensive readiness to protect the kingdom.

The Bahraini Interior Ministry sounded warning sirens this morning.

It emphasized that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

It called on everyone to exercise caution, not to approach any strange or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the brutal Iranian attack, and to report them immediately.

It pointed out that the Royal Field Engineering Unit is fully prepared to safely handle those objects to ensure public safety for all citizens and residents.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior had earlier this morning sounded warning sirens and called on citizens and residents to remain calm and head to the nearest safe location.

The Kingdom of Bahrain has been subjected to repeated Iranian attacks since the renewal of fighting between the United States and Iran more than a week ago, after the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries on last June 17 faltered.
