Dubai Police Opens Registration for Male and Female Students for Officer Candidate Course
Dubai Police announces registration for 33rd intake for male and 5th intake for female officer candidates, with conditions and required documents.
Dubai, August 1 / WAM / The General Command of Dubai Police announced the opening of registration for joining Dubai Police for male and female students who have obtained a high school certificate. Registration will be opened for male students in the 33rd intake of the Officer Candidate Course, while registration will be opened for female students in the 5th intake of the Officer Candidate Course.
Brigadier Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources, explained that those wishing to join Dubai Police must submit their applications via the Smart Recruitment Platform through the link https://ejob.dubaipolice.gov.ae, with registration continuing until the 6th of this month.
Brigadier Saleh Murad confirmed that there are many conditions that must be met to join the candidate course. These include being a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, holding a high school certificate in the advanced track with a minimum grade of 75% or in the general track with a minimum grade of 80%, and the certificate must have been obtained no more than two years ago. The applicant must be of good conduct and behavior, not have been convicted of a felony or any crime involving dishonor or breach of trust, be between 17 and 21 years old, have a minimum height of 165 cm for males and 155 cm for females with proportionate weight, have completed the National and Reserve Service program, and have scored at least 1100 on the Emirates Standardized Test for English (Emsat Achieve) or its equivalent in TOEFL with a score of 500 or IELTS with a score of 5. Additionally, the student must have scored at least 1000 on the Emirates University Admission Test for Arabic (Emsat).
Brigadier Saleh Murad said that the selection conditions for male and female candidates to join Dubai Police include successfully passing the smart tests, successfully passing the medical examinations, not having been previously convicted of a crime involving dishonor or breach of trust, and not having been stripped of their military rank or dismissed or terminated from service in any security, military, or civil entity.
Brigadier Saleh Murad affirmed that the applicant must attach copies of the following documents when applying to join Dubai Police: a criminal record certificate issued by and addressed to the General Command of Dubai Police, a valid passport with a unified number, a family book, an authenticated academic certificate, a birth certificate, an Emirates ID, an English language certificate (Emsat with a minimum score of 1100 or TOEFL with a minimum score of 500 or IELTS with a minimum score of 5), an Arabic language certificate (Emsat with a minimum score of 1000), a colored personal photo, and an exemption certificate from the National and Reserve Service Authority or certificates of completion of the national service course (for those concerned, foundation course, and specialized course).
The candidate, after acceptance into the General Command of Dubai Police, will be granted a monthly stipend, an 'Esad' discount card, and other benefits.
He noted that the vacancy will close on Friday, August 6, 2021, and a COVID-19 test will be conducted for the applicant before taking the smart tests and before joining the Dubai Police Academy. Applications that do not meet the stated conditions will not be considered.
