His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, made a phone call yesterday with His Excellency Mr. Anas Khattab, Minister of Interior of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination between the two interior ministries, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest.

The call also covered the latest security developments in the Syrian Arab Republic, foremost of which was the terrorist bombing that recently struck the city of Damascus. His Highness the Minister of Interior affirmed the Kingdom's strong condemnation and denunciation of this bombing, and its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in confronting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, stressing the Kingdom's steadfast position in support of Syria's security and stability.
