Iran announces toll of raids on July 8 and 9.. dead and wounded
US air and missile strikes targeting six Iranian cities on July 8 and 9 have killed 17 people and wounded 115 others.
The Iranian news agency Tasnim quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that the US air strikes on six Iranian cities on July 8 and 9 resulted in "17 dead and 115 wounded."
According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health, 14 surgeries have been performed so far, and 102 people have recovered and left the hospital, while "unfortunately, 17 citizens were killed, including one woman."

The United States launched attacks on Iran on Wednesday and Thursday in response to Tehran's targeting of oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz the previous Tuesday.
