The Jordanian army announced in a statement on Monday that its air defenses intercepted and shot down 4 missiles launched from Iran, with no casualties or material damage.

The statement quoted a responsible Jordanian military source as saying that 'air defense systems intercepted and shot down, early Monday, four missiles that entered Jordanian airspace coming from Iranian territory,' noting that they 'did not result in any casualties or material damage.'

He added that 'Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the shrapnel that fell in several locations, in accordance with approved technical and security procedures.'

In the same context, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced early Monday the sounding of sirens across the kingdom, calling on citizens and residents to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior said in a statement posted on platform 'X' that sirens were activated, urging everyone to follow updates through official channels and comply with instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

In another statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force affirmed its military readiness to defend itself against Iranian attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom.

The Kuwaiti army also announced on Monday that it had confronted hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace.

The army added in a statement: 'The General Staff of the Army notes that the sounds of explosions, if heard, are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks.'

The US Central Command 'CENTCOM' announced the completion of a new wave of offensive strikes against Iran, confirming the targeting of dozens of sites.

It said the strikes included air defense systems, coastal radars, missile and drone equipment, as well as fast boats, stressing that the Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime passage for global trade and that Iran does not control it.

Iranian media reported explosions on Qeshm Island, the city of Jask, and in areas of Bushehr province.

They also reported explosions in Sistan and Baluchestan and Ahvaz, while the deputy governor of Khuzestan announced that two sites in the vicinity of Ahvaz were subjected to an American attack.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard had opened fire again on commercial vessels while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz.

The US military said that American aircraft succeeded in shooting down an Iranian cruise missile and a drone, as part of protecting navigation in the strait.

In the same context, the Axios website quoted a US official as saying that about twenty commercial vessels crossed the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours, in coordination with US forces to ensure safe navigation.
