A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – the Arab Army announced that Jordanian air defense systems succeeded today (Thursday) in intercepting and downing eight missiles launched from Iran towards Jordanian territory.

The source explained that the interception operations resulted in the fall of a number of fragments in various areas, with no human casualties or material damage recorded, reflecting the efficiency of air defense systems in dealing with air threats and protecting the kingdom's airspace.

He affirmed that the Jordan Armed Forces are closely following current regional developments and continue to perform their duties with the highest levels of readiness and operational preparedness to maintain the security of the kingdom and the safety of its land and airspace.
