Kuwait and Qatar announced on Sunday morning that they repelled aerial attacks, as part of the military confrontation between the United States and Iran.

The Kuwaiti army said, via the American company "X" platform, that the armed forces are repelling "hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace."

It added that "if explosion sounds are heard, they result from the interception of hostile attacks by air defense systems."

The Qatari Ministry of Defense also reported on "X" that "the armed forces continue to repel a number of ballistic missile attacks."
