The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that air defense systems are currently confronting an attack by hostile drones, as part of what it described as Iranian aggression.

The General Staff clarified in its statement that the sounds of explosions that may be heard across the country are a direct result of the air defense systems intercepting the hostile drones, and are not a cause for concern for the safety of civilians.

The General Staff called on all citizens and residents to fully comply with the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities and to stay away from the areas of operations.
