The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced today that Kuwaiti air defense systems repelled hostile missile and drone attacks targeting the country.

The General Staff clarified in an official statement that the sounds of explosions that may be heard in various areas are a direct result of the air defense systems intercepting those hostile attacks, and are not due to any damage or falling projectiles.

The General Staff called on all citizens and residents to fully adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities, and to stay away from sources of rumors and the circulation of unverified information.
