Ministry of Defense Affirms Readiness of Air Defense Forces to Ensure Pilgrims' Security

The Ministry of Defense confirmed on Saturday the readiness of integrated air defense forces to ensure pilgrims' security, pointing to raising security readiness levels in the holy sites.

The Ministry of Defense said: "The air defense forces undertake the task of protecting the airspace in the holy sites as part of the integrated readiness system implemented by the Ministry of Defense during the Hajj season, within the framework of efforts aimed at enhancing the security and safety of the guests of God."

The air defense forces carry out their field tasks through advanced systems for detection, monitoring, and dealing with various aerial threats, contributing to raising security readiness levels in the holy sites.

These efforts are an extension of the Kingdom's keenness to harness all human and technical capabilities to serve the guests of God, and to enhance the security and protection system in Mecca and the holy sites during the Hajj season.
