Riyadh, Muharram 29, 1448 AH (July 14, 2026) SPA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of several Kuwaiti border posts, a drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks that targeted Kuwait's consulate general in the city of Basra, the targeting of two UAE oil tankers while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's continued threat to the security and stability of the region by targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar. The Kingdom reiterated its absolute rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of brotherly states, its continued behavior that undermines the security and stability of the region, and its violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.
